Starting a vegetable garden
What to plant : Be choosy while selecting the plants we are up to grow – select the kind of vegetables that you would love to eat fresh – means going for vegetables that we pay primary for their freshness and tender flavour . like tomatoes ( most of people choose this one ) spinach , peas , beans , sweet corn etc..
Right place for the vegetable garden : obverse where the sunlight is available all the day and choose that place for creating a flat ground . break up the soil and buy amendments and get ready for planting . ( amendments such as : mushroom compost , rice hulls and ground bark – for layers we can use wood chips , manure , saw dust ). buy them in bulk if you planning for large vegetable garden ( of you have space for it ) . below example can help you in garden layers , its just a example and you can even inquire about the layers from where we are to purchase . if we start the seeding in early spring or in winter falls make sure there is enough sunlight all the day for the allotted space .

Space for kinds of plants : each kind of plant needs different space requirement to grow . for tomatoes we need to seed them with at least 50cm distance and lettuce dont need much as tomato , for pumpkin we need to seed them with 4 feet apart from each other ( some room to grow ). even can check these details from the seed packets or ask the shop keeper too ( if he is much friendly ) .
Less Room Space – Small Vegetable garden : if we don’t have much space to grow we must select the plants that can creep or sit in a flat space or pot . lettuce , tumbler tomatoes and patio can feel comfortable witha pot itself and for creepers we can provide support and make them to grow vertically more ( to save horizontal space ) . we can grow herds and parsley , coriander leaves in flower beds .
growing veggies per season : all plants can stay all round the year – some can stand cool seasons and some kind plants love summer seasons . so planting them wisely will yield us more . some of the plants can grow better from seeds itself than to buy seedlings and plant them ( even less expensive ) .
veggies for cool seasons : cabbage, carrots,turnips,broccoli , beets, radishes, spinach ,lettuce, peas, potatoes, and cauliflower.
Summer season grow ups : Tomato ,pumpkins, corn, peppers ,squash ,cucumbers, melons,eggplant and beans.
good as seedlings and seeds : as already said some plants like going for seeds is good for pocket ( in case of most cool season plants ) , but if yo are not a expert mini garden farmer better go with nursery seedlings for summer season plants ( as these good as seedlings ) – but you see cucumbers can grow either from seed or as seedling they perform better.
buying seeds and seedlings purchase tips : we can even buy seeds online and on bulk order they even send you some giveaways ( free adds ) . just search google as “buy tomato seeds online” and similar phrase for your specific requirement you are done . regarding seedling purchase see the seedling is straight and with no yellow leaves and free from bug holes . yellow leaves means over watering .
