Things required for plating : Cherry Tomato Seedlings , Liquid Fertilizers , Shovels , Watering Cans , Compost , Garden Stakes , Garden Trowels .
Steps for healthy cherry tomato gardening :
- After the last frost , get cherry tomato seedlings from your local nursery for planting . check whether heirloom varieties available or pearl type . both plants will yield abundant fruits .
- Select a site with lots of sunshine. in case your soil is clay or sandy , Work with plenty of compost or organic matter . now dig a hole to fit the seedling .take the plant out of the container .
- Plant the seedling in the hole with the roots are in the hole and the base of the green plant is at ground level.fill the hole with soil and press firmly surrounding the base of the plant.
- Place a wood stake in the ground near the base, and tie the plant loosely to the stake ( not in the seedling stage – this is done after some weeks – when the tomato plants are grown up ) .Water generously, but not the dirt out of the hole.
- About every two days Water the plant . for every two weeks fertilize with liquid fertilizer.
- Pick tomatoes when its color is bright and even, and texture somewhere between smooth and firm.
